New GDP Non-Compliance Reports

Nuovi rapporti di non conformità GDP sono stati pubblicati nel database EudraGMDP, portando a una sospensione della WDA (autorizzazione alla distribuzione all'ingrosso) delle società ispezionate.

Le motivazioni per una sospensione

È interessante approfondire cosa potrebbe portare a una sospensione:

  • non viene eseguita alcuna attività di distribuzione: una società ceca ha perso la propria WDA perché "la società non garantisce i servizi della Persona Qualificata e il magazzino non è disponibile";
  • sistema di qualità insufficiente: la WDA di un grossista tedesco è stata sospesa perché "il sistema di qualità non ha garantito che i prodotti consegnati mantengano la loro qualità e rimangano all'interno della catena di approvvigionamento legale durante lo stoccaggio e il trasporto, in particolare per quanto riguarda i prodotti della catena del freddo". Inoltre la Persona Responsabile (RP) "non ha adempiuto adeguatamente alle sue funzioni" e "la qualificazione di fornitori e clienti era parzialmente insufficiente";
  • possesso di medicinali falsificati: due distributori all'ingrosso nel Regno Unito hanno perso le loro WDA (sospensione totale e parziale) perché "non hanno rilevato o impedito il rientro nella catena di approvvigionamento legale dei medicinali falsificati". Di conseguenza, gli ispettori hanno trovato medicinali falsificati nella struttura.

New GDP Non-Compliance Reports have been published in the EudraGMDP database, leading to a suspension of the WDA (wholesale distribution authorisation) of the inspected companies.

Reasons for a suspension

It is interesting to see what might lead to a suspension:

No distribution activities are performed:  A Czech company lost its WDA because the "company does not ensure the services of qualified person and the warehouse is not available".

Insufficient quality system: The WDA of a German wholesaler was suspended because the "quality system did not ensure that the products delivered maintain their quality and remain within the legal supply chain during storage and transportation, especially with regard to cold chain products". Furthermore the Responsible Person (RP) "did not fulfill his duties adequately" and "qualification of suppliers and customers was partly insufficient".

Possession of falsified medicines: Two U.K. wholesale distributers lost their WDAs (full and partial suspension) because they "did not detect or prevent falsified medicines re-entering into the legal supply chain". As result, inspectors found falsified medicines in the facility.
